Adverse Reactions

In general, treatment with Losartan was well-tolerated. The adverse reactions have been reported as following: Respiratory: cough, nasal congestion, pharyngitis, sinus disorders, upper respiratory infection.
Nervous system/Psychiatric: dizziness, headache, insomnia, migraine, dysgeusia.
Musculoskeletal: back pain, muscle cramps, myalgia, arthralgia.
Gastrointestinal: diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, hepatitis, liver function abnormalities.
Cardiovascular: palpitation, tachycardia, hypotension.
Body as a whole: abdominal pain, asthenia, chest pain, edema, fever.
Skin: urticaria, pruritus, erythroderma.
Hematologic: anemia, thrombocytopenia.
Hypersensitivity: anaphylactic reactions, angioedema including swelling of the larynx and glottis causing airway obstruction and/or swelling of the face, lips, pharynx and/or tongue has been reported rarely in patients treated with losartan; some of these patients previously experienced angioedema with other drugs including ACE inhibitors, vasculitis.
